Elaine Cooke obtained her Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from the University of British Columbia and has been a Certified Diabetes Educator since 2002. Elaine is the Editor Emeritus of Diabetes Communicator, a professional publication of Diabetes Canada. She has authored multiple articles and presentations on diabetes and created several accredited educational programs for pharmacy professionals. Elaine has many years experience as a pharmacy manager, clinical pharmacist, presenter, and trainer. She was Diabetes Canada 2019 Educator of the year and received the BC Pharmacy Association Murray Dykeman Mentorship award in 2013.
